Aperta una call per approfondimenti su relazioni internazionali e global affairs

Tempo fino al 10 luglio per candidare il proprio intervento a “Global Affairs Review”

Una piattaforma per condividere con studenti, accademici e professionisti una serie di idee e approfondimenti su temi come la sicurezza internazionale, la difesa e il ruolo delle donne nelle relazioni internazionali. Si tratta di “Global Affairs Review”, un nuovo progetto affiliato al Master in Global Affairs dell’Universidad Rey Juan Carlos di Madrid e all’Università del Principe Edoardo, Canada. 

Proprio in questa cornice, è stata aperta una call per la selezione di una serie di contenuti. Gli interessati possono candidare i propri approfondimenti entro il 10 luglio 2020 scrivendo all’indirizzo email globalaffairs.review@masteringlobalaffairs.org.  

Questi gli ambiti:

1. Climate Change Diplomacy (eg. Multinational agreements, effects on Indigenous Peoples, NGOs, role of activism, Arctic Council, etc.)
2. International Defence and Security (eg. UN Security Council, NATO, EU Joint Defense, Cybersecurity, Arctic Security, Counter-terrorism etc.)
3. Humanitarian Aid and Development (eg. UNICEF, Refugees, NGOs working in the field, challenges posed by humanitarian aid, Children and education, etc.)
4. The Role of Women in International Relations (eg. World Leaders, Indigenous Groups, Women in Diplomacy, how international intervention, both governmental and non-governmental, impacts women, etc.)

La redazione di “Global Affari Review” è composta dagli studenti del Master in Global Affairs della Juan Carlos University. Fra loro Alessandra Gramolini, borsista del Centro di Ricerca per le Relazioni Internazionali dell’Ateneo sammarinese. 

Il comitato accademico di “Global Affari Review” é composto da Christian Rieck (Università di Postdam, Germania), Doreley Coll (Università di Prince Edward Island, Canada), Victor Godinez (UNAM, Messico), Javier Esguevillas (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Spagna), Pilar Trinidad (Vice Direttore Relazioni Internazionali, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Spagna).

In honour of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations this issue will predominantly focus on UN related issues. For this reason special preference will be given to articles related directly to the work of the UN and its subsidiary institutions.

Submission Guidelines:

• Academic Style Article
• Language: English
• Chicago Style formatting and citations
• 2500-5000 words (excluding bibliography), double spaced, Times New Roman, size 12 font.
• Please submit both a PDF and a .doc or .docx version of the article.
• Original Publications
• Please indicate if this article has been submitted to any other organizations/institutions for publication.
• The Global Affairs Review will not accept any form of plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected the article will automatically be discarded.
• Please provide a 100-150 word mini biography in the body of the email submission. Please include your name, title (if applicable), field of study/expertise, organization, and any other information you would like to include.
• Please submit articles to: globalaffairs.review@masteringlobalaffairs.org with the subject line Submission.
